Core Values

In carrying out its vision-mission, KKFI is guided by the following core values:

Culture of Excellence. Everyone feels that their work is meaningful, significant, and purpose-based. Everyone will strive to produce high-quality outputs in all they do and significantly impact the lives of women and children in marginalized areas in the country.

Compassion. Everyone sees the marginalized, oppressed, powerless, and downtrodden as people with dignity and honor and not subjects of charity. We recognize they have indigenous knowledge and capacity but need the opportunity and access to a better future. Everyone sees that people need to feel God’s love to be able to hope for the best and work as hard as they can to change the culture of poverty that they are experiencing and inherited from their ancestors.

Service. Everyone sees that working and partnering with KKFI is giving oneself to serve rather than to be served. It is a lifelong dedication and commitment to helping others to a better life and higher standards. To provide “Real Service” demands that the giver has the benefit of others as their priority. This is a commitment beyond salary and benefits for social transformation. Service does not place bias on the poor and marginalized sectors.

Christ-centered. Everyone sees that what they do at KKFI is a life built on and around a commitment to Jesus Christ.

Respect all people. Everyone understands that the fundamental principles of KKFI ethics are founded on respect. Respect undergirds the acceptance, and adherence of the organizational structure, policies, processes, systems, procedures, and operations in the KKFI manuals. Respect is a core value set by the organization.

Conserve mother nature. We practice caring for the environment so all living things can benefit from Mother Earth now and in the future.
