Day 1: Likharal Teachers Training

LikhaAral means “create and learn.” It is derived from 2 Tagalog words “Likha” which means “creation” and “Aral means to learn.” Creative learning or learn creatively, LikhAral is one of KKFI’s ministry to the children and youth which simply aims to introduce God’s love contextually and creatively to the community regardless of its belief and denominational affiliation.

A program initiated by Kapatiran Kaunlaran Foundation Inc., Pastoral Concerns Department (KKFI-PCD) or chaplain’s office, LikhAral hopes to plant the seed of faith and hope in the hearts of the young so that they will be more responsible children of God and members of the community and society.

Through the creative approach of introducing God in the bible, LikhAral program not only addresses the spiritual concerns, but also the critical needs for safe spaces for children and youth from underserved communities. Moreover, KKFI-LikhAral program activities also give essential support in navigating life’s challenges even at their young age.
