On February 12, 2024, Kapatiran-Kaunlaran Foundation Inc. (KKFI) had a fruitful exploratory meeting with the barangays of 462, 463, and 464, paving the way for an exciting collaboration in support of the LikhAral initiative.
Rev. Maricel Monceda Osias, KKFI Chaplain, spearheaded the meeting. She was joined by one of the members of KKFI management, Ms. Melanie Balateco (Director of KKFI Facilities), and Ms. Flora Mae Tatoy, a community social development worker and volunteer at KKFI’s Pastoral Care Department.
The LikhAral (Create and Learn) program aims to impart Christ’s love to the community, especially to children, in a creative way that is both contextual and adaptable to the current conditions of children in the community.
A sense of nostalgia filled the room as barangay officials shared their experiences and reflected on how KKFI’s past ministries impacted their lives and helped shape who they are today as leaders in their respective communities. Indeed, this connection and shared history create a strong foundation for meaningful collaborations.
Heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude go to Chairman Danilo De Guzman of Brgy. 464, Chairman Sunguard Pamiloza of Brgy. 463, and Chairman Gina Ramil of Brgy. 462 for their valuable support, commitment, and openness to this collaborative endeavor.
May the Lord God bless this ministry!
