As an extension of its commitment to children’s education, the education program plans to implement tutorial class sessions for young learners and conducted in key communities such as Manila North Cemetery, Aroma and Happyland in Tondo, and Longos and Sto. Cristo Pulilan, Bulacan.
These tutorial sessions are designed for:
- Literacy and numeracy reinforcement
- One-on-one or small group
- Address learning gaps and challenges
- Assistance with schoolwork, reading and writing
- Christian values integration
- Strengthen the continuity of learning and prevent dropouts
These initiatives serve as a learning support system for ALS learners as well as other children from advantaged backgrounds and conducted by the volunteer scholars, para-teachers and trained committee leaders and members, creating safe and responsive learning environments within the heart of the communities.
Goal: To ensure that every child regardless of background or circumstances, has access to quality education and development support- fostering learning readiness, personal growth, resilience and hope for a better future. This combined education initiative reflects KKFI’s holistic approach to inclusive, value-driven and community-supported education for learners of all ages and backgrounds.
